Questions and Answers

Here you will find the most frequently asked questions and clear answers to them, so you can easily find everything that interests you.

Yes. We guarantee the result within the scope of each service we take on.

Every case undergoes a thorough review before we start working together — we assess your grounds, documents, and real chances. If we take on your case, it means that:

  • your legal grounds are sufficient;
  • the documents can be prepared correctly;
  • we are confident in a successful outcome.

Work Permit operates transparently and professionally, supporting the client until the expected result is achieved.

Yes. If the refusal occurs due to our fault — we refund the client the full amount.

We are responsible for the quality of document preparation, the correctness of application forms, compliance with the requirements of the office, and the legal part of the process.

A refund is possible if:

  • the mistake occurred on our side;
  • we prepared the document package incorrectly;
  • a technical or legal error was made due to our fault.

Our goal is for every client to receive the result without unnecessary worries, so we always work honestly and responsibly.

Yes. For each service, we sign an official agreement.

The document clearly outlines all terms of cooperation, the obligations of both parties, the cost, and the guarantees. This ensures transparency, legal protection, and comfort for both the client and the Work Permit company.

Work Permit operates throughout the entire territory of Poland — regardless of your city or voivodeship.

We support applications for all types of residence cards, help you get officially married in 1 day without queues and bureaucracy, replace a driver’s license, clear a car through customs, and obtain other important documents.

Our online support allows us to prepare a complete document package for any office quickly, correctly, and without mistakes — even if you live in a small town or frequently change your place of residence.

Booking is very simple — just submit a request on the website or call the number: +48 789 698 786.

All initial consultations are completely free of charge.

You can choose a convenient format:

  • online consultation (Viber, WhatsApp, Telegram, video call);
  • an in-person meeting at our offices in Poland.

During the consultation, we assess your situation and explain the next steps.

Yes. We provide full confirmation of all work completed on your case.

You can:

  • personally visit our office and review all prepared documents and the stages of work;
  • if visiting is not possible — we will send the confirmation to your email address specified in the contract.

Work Permit operates transparently and provides clients with access to all information regarding the progress of their case.

First, we contact the office directly to find out at which stage the review of your residence card is currently located.

After that, we collect all the necessary documents and carefully analyze your case. Within a few days, our lawyers prepare correct yet assertive letters to the authority to speed up the process, referring to the relevant legal provisions.

Next, we prepare an official complaint against the inspector and the head of the Foreigners’ Department and send it to the Main Department for Foreigners Affairs in Warsaw.

If the case is still ignored after that, we prepare an appeal to the court regarding the inaction of the inspector and the department’s management.

A ponaglenie is an official request submitted to a higher authority asking them to influence the office and speed up the processing of your case.

If even after this request the institution does not respond and continues to take no action, then a court complaint is filed for the inaction of the authority.

By law, the case should be processed within 60–90 days, but in practice the timelines are much longer: in most voivodeships, decisions are expected from 6 to 12 months, and sometimes even longer.

The duration depends on the city, the workload of the office, and the specific type of grounds for the application.

No. Submitting a ponaglenie or a complaint is your legal right, and it cannot affect the outcome of your case.

Such requests are reviewed separately and do not influence the decision regarding the residence card or any other procedure.

Complaints are submitted only to remind the office about the delay and to speed up the process, not to evaluate your eligibility.

On average, 2–4 months after submitting the ponaglenie, depending on the region and the workload of the specific office.

The timeframe may vary, as each office operates according to its own internal queue, but a properly prepared ponaglenie significantly increases the chances of speeding up the process.

If you receive a negative decision, there is no need to worry — you have 14 days to submit an appeal (odwołanie).

We also assist in preparing and submitting the appeal and support you at every stage of this process.

The guarantees depend on which documents were submitted initially and whether they contained any errors. It is the initial document package that affects the processing speed of the case and the possibility of receiving a positive decision.

When the inspector receives our letters, they send an official response listing what needs to be corrected or supplemented.
It is important to fulfill these requirements as quickly as possible to keep the chance of a positive outcome.

For example, the office may request: to extend the rental agreement, correct inaccuracies in the application form, provide proper photographs, update the information in the work permit, or submit additional proof of income or place of residence.

It is an official document that confirms that a foreigner has the legal right to live in Poland. It serves as a residence permit and allows you to stay in the country without restrictions, as well as enter and leave Poland without needing additional visas.

Simply put: it is a document that gives you the right to live, work, or study in Poland and freely cross the Polish border for the entire period of its validity.

Visa-free travel allows you to stay in the Schengen area for 90 days within the last 180 days. During checks, border guards count back 180 days from the date of control and sum up all your days spent in the Schengen area. If you have already used 90 days — the limit is exhausted.

If you have not entered the Schengen area for at least 90 days, the counter resets, and you receive a new 90-day allowance for visa-free travel.

We assist with obtaining all types of residence permits in every city in Poland.

Yes, it is allowed. If you are legalizing your stay on the basis of employment, you may switch to another employer. To do this, you must inform the office (urzęd) about the change and submit new documents from your new workplace.

In the decision granting a residence card based on employment, your employer, job position, duties, and salary are specified. Therefore, when changing jobs, you must prepare new documents for your new employer.

If you resign, you must inform the office (urząd) within 15 days. After that, you have 30 days to find a new job and submit the documents to update your permit.

A Temporary Residence Card is a document that allows a foreigner to legally live in Poland for more than 90 days. It is issued for a maximum of 3 years. This card confirms your identity, gives you the right to stay in the country without needing additional visas, and allows you to freely cross the Polish border throughout its validity period.

A Permanent Residence Card is a permit that grants a foreigner the right to live in Poland without time limitations. The status itself is indefinite, but the physical card must be replaced every 10 years. It confirms your right to permanent residence and legal stay in the country.

The Blue Card is a special temporary residence permit in Poland for highly qualified professionals. It can be obtained, for example, by IT specialists, managers, engineers, HR professionals, and other experts with high qualifications. The card is issued for up to 3 years and allows you to legally work and reside in Poland.
